A Christmas-Massage from Kenya

In our lives, we live upon days of happiness, sorrow and season of celebrations. These days are to be treasured because they constitute in our daily lives. Upon season of celebrations, most people believe that 25th December is a memorial day which marks the birth of Christ. Most important thing is that we thank God for the far He has brought us, same as to you reading this message.
We call it Christmas day, but on its Eve, people usually do their preparation earlier as to welcome the day. Cannan Orphanage home had the program for the day and two days before, we started preparing ourselves by painting our Orphanage home which was done by a hired worker while the children were cleaning the compound and burning the rubbish. One side of the wall was decorated by an artist called Seif to whom some amount was given to him and drew Santa Claus surrounded by flowers. We spent two days cleaning and decorating the Orphanage home.
Very early on 25th day of December {x-mas day}, we prepared ourselves and by 10:00a.m, everybody was ready. Immediately after we took lunch meal, we started our journey of x-mas to mamba village. Due to lack of transport, we were forced to walk 5km from our orphanage home to Mombasa village. At Mombasa village, we took photos with the crocodile statue, eating some snacks and enjoying ourselves with swings. We spent more hours there because the children were happier with swings.
In Mombasa Kenya, a day does not set without people going to the beach. As usual, we set off to Nyali beach as children were complaining that they had missed swimming. Though we covered some distance with foot, we enjoyed because that day was crowded everywhere with different events along the road. At Nyali beach, the children could not sit back on seeing the sea water but in a hurry changed their clothes and rushed in the water. We let them do as they wished for we wanted them to feel happy. They swam while we took photos of them. They engaged in different games and gave out their best individually.
One annoying thing on our way back home was that we were to walk while everybody was exhausted. We eventually managed and marked our celebration perfect and memorable. Thanks be to our Almighty God for His love, Protection, Care and Mercy which He has shown to us throughout our lives and it is our sincere prayer that we ask Him to Bless abundantly the people reading this message for they are too important and a family too us.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
